Not sure how the food tastes. Been in line 25 minutes and only 6 people have made it through the line. Too bad it doesn't close down and a chipotle take its place...

The food is good, the branding is cool, the service is poor, and it is overpriced. While I was there two teenage employees had a loud conversation about how to give poor service. Judging from my recent experience, they've mastered the art.

St Augustine was absolutely jammed for 4th of July. After trying many restaurants with up to 2.5 hour waits, I made the call that our group of 7 was going in to Fiesta Jacks. There was a line out the door and no empty tables, but there was food in sight. The line moved slowly, but we did finally get to order our food. This is like a Moes, Chipotle, Subway, etc where there are a few choices on the menu then you customize from their fresh ingredients. We had 2 burritos (pretty plain - they were for the kids) and two loaded up burrito bowls. Our companions also went with the bowls and a set of tacos. All agreed that the food tasted fresh and was very good. The employees were working their butts off chopping, creating and checking people out as fast as they could but their set up just wasn't made for speed. We took our orders in to go boxes not knowing where we would be able to sit, but as we were needing seats, another large party cleared out. Drinks were serve yourself and the crew didn't mind when we refilled our water bottles. Fiesta Jack's was a nice find on a busy day!

Finally, an affordable option just off of St George street! We were going in circles looking at different places to eat, only to see dishes everywhere averaging $25-$39!! Came right and all options were under $9! Fantastic, very tasty and open late on the weekends!

Glorified chipotle and not nearly as good and more expensive. I got the steak tacos and instead of sliced steak it was some weird ground steak. Very unimpressed, don't waste your time or money.

Fast service, great flavour, and great value for money. We stopped here for a quick lunch on the tours here, and honestly wasn't expecting much. Turns out the huge portioned, great tasting food gave me more than what was expected. Definitely worth a 5 star.

Food good, service was pretty quick but we were the only ones there. Several customers came in after us add the wait began. People started leaving as the wait was so long.

Saw this off the main drag, and decided to try it. Walked in and wondered why no one was in during lunch. Still don't know why, but our food was great. Salad we're very fresh, and my burrito was excellent. Reasonably priced, reasonably quick. Definitely give it a try.

Here in St. Augustine on vacation, so Yelp is a must-have when it's time to grub! We found this restaurant on Yelp and were not disappointed. They gave us huge servings- I shared an entree with my son and it was the perfect size. It filled me up enough to leave room for a light dessert.

Please please please do not waste your time or money here. Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon because the sign out front advertised $2 Coronas. We waited in line behind one person for five minutes while the six employees apparently had a meeting discussing the upcoming week's work schedule. Our 2 beers were room temperature, the queso dip was only half full, and the chips were apparently from the bottom of the bag - completely stale and all in tiny pieces. I'm usually willing to give most places a second chance...not happening here.

We asked a local were we could fine a good place to eat and we ended up here. Very basic place. I ordered a burrito great flavor really big. The only thing a had a problem with is how she made it. She layered it all wrong. I got a bite of guacamole then sour cream then tomato then chicken then rice and beans. And one bite of jalapeño. Then rolled it like a little ball. So I guess that if my mouth was that big I would have tasted everything at once. Overall I still liked this little joint.

TERRIBLE, DO NOT GO!!! Terrible service and way over priced for the mediocre quality they provided. I got a salad with just veggies and was charged $13 and they made me pay extra for more dressing. The $13 salad was about half the size of a normal salad and did not taste good at all.

Great food. Wait was a little long, but we also went out Saturday night, so very understandable. Definitely must try!

This place is great! Very similar to chipotle in form. You stand in line and choose from a short list on the menu and then personalize it with the toppings. Great food for the value. I liked their topping variety.

Burrito bar type place. Delicious. I built my own chicken nachos with queso blanco. Could not have been better. Hubby for a quesadilla and ate it all which is unusual for him. They serve beer. No other alcohol. Nice outside eating area. Might be the second best place I've eaten in SA. The price is certainly right compared to all the other overpriced restaurants.

Quesadillas were very good! You can add whatever ingredients to it before they melt it all together for you. Good deal.

Great fish tacos, great atmosphere, great value. I'm a restaurant snob and I would recommend it for a quick tasty meal.

We went to st. Augustine on sat and the lady a Bath Junkie recommended this place. Really good fish tacos. The only negative was the chips were way to salty. Great fresh foo. Since this is anew restaurant I am sure they have growing pains. Eat local!

This place was hands-down amazing! I took my wife here over the weekend and was blown away by this jewel in St. Augustine. The decor was unique and the whole restaurant was spotless. The employees were very friendly and gave me the rundown on what to get as a first-timer. I got the mahi and my wife got the steak and both couldn't have been better. Especially for the price! I wish we could go to St. Augustine more often so we can enjoy this special restaurant everyday! They have a nice patio area and have live music sometimes too. Check it out!

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
